Big fish caught again

 Fishery Report 10/4/13

Yet again alot of fish being caught, the first fish to fall to a dry fly happened last week to Gordie(Fishery Manager) Most of the fish have been caught on the buzzer under the bung.

Small lure in black have also been doing well.

Paul MacDonald
takes a 7lb 6oz rainbow on a Green buzzer under the indicator at about two and a half feet.

      Fishery Report 15/03/13

Trout have been  taking mainly lures, The Rainbow warrior taking its fair share. Paul Macdonald won the winters single with a total weight of over 24lb,well done Paul.

This week the fish have been mid water, so floating lines with heavy lures or indeed buzzer have worked fine, Ian Henry using his lime green buzzer with white tail has had some nice rainbows, 5lb 4oz his best to-date(see photo Gallery).

Main flies this week Lime green buzzer, Rainbow warrior, Blood worm and black lures with some sparkle though them.

The summer league starts in April so for all information contact Gordie at the fishery.

With Spring arriving soon it will be time to put on the dries and cast towards the reed beds, remember to grease your leader as Geddes has very clear water most of the time and is teaming with wild life.
